A one day course, comprised of rescue technique training and the study of the "snow mantle" to investigate avalanche danger. It will also cover all aspects of the glacier security including crevasse rescue.
Training in the use of ARVA equipment and search techniques for avalanche victim rescue.
The course will also cover terrain analysis for avalanche risk and methods of avoiding avalanche danger whilst in the off-piste environment.
